    F.W. Murnau’s Nosferatu undoubtedly pioneered the horror genre. Released by Prana Film over a century ago in 1922, it established a myriad of tropes that remain influential today, including a vampire’s fatal vulnerability to sunlight, the precursor to the “final girl” archetype, and stark, atmospheric gothic visuals.

    Nosferatu™ by Xyrena opens with a note of cracked peppercorn, its warm spiciness melding with dried wildflowers, like forgotten bouquets scattered across the cobblestone streets of Wisborg, and a bitter touch of wormwood, a nod to the creeping unease that follows Count Orlok’s shadow.

    At its heart, the fragrance delves deeper into foreboding beauty with a chilling mineralic stone accord, conjuring the cold, damp walls of an ancient Carpathian castle, balanced by the ominous allure of black dahlia and the seductive, otherworldly sweetness of lush plum.

    The base settles into a hauntingly elegant drydown of gilded resin, evoking the ancient opulence of Orlok’s desolate halls, not unlike the incense-laden air of an Orthodox cathedral.
