Pause Coréenne is a fragrance house inspired by the atmosphere, aesthetics, and cultural rhythm of South Korea. The brand explores the idea of transforming everyday moments into olfactory experiences, where scent is used to evoke memory, atmosphere, and emotion. Its fragrances are influenced by elements of Korean visual culture, including minimalism, natural materials, quiet spaces, and soft light.
Each composition is designed as a reflection of a specific place or moment, such as early mornings in Seoul, the blend of tradition and modern architecture in Jeonju, or the contemporary urban landscapes of Incheon. The perfumes are created by perfumer Maud Chabanis, whose approach emphasizes subtle storytelling and sensory imagery.
