House of Dastan
The House of Dastan reflects a dialogue between Persian and Parisian traditions, where perfumery becomes a vessel for storytelling. The name Dastan, meaning “story” in Persian, defines a philosophy centered on emotion and memory. Each creation interprets the timeless narratives of love, passion, and contrast through scent, unfolding like chapters in an evolving tale. Founded by Hamed and Sonia Arefian, whose Persian heritage and years in New York’s fine fragrance world shaped their vision, the house bridges refinement and artistry across cultures. Under the mastery of perfumer Richard Herpin—known for his work with Tom Ford and Amouage—the compositions emerge from rare materials and meticulous craftsmanship. Rooted in collaboration, The House of Dastan engages its community in the creative process, transforming collective experience into perfumes that are expressive, enduring, and profoundly human.
