Codice Olfattivo
Codice Olfattivo developed the Declination fragrance collection as part of an experimental project examining the relationship between color and scent. The initiative was structured around six individual compositions, each associated with a specific color reference. Within the project, visual identity and olfactory composition were designed simultaneously, with the intention of exploring how chromatic concepts could inform fragrance structure.
The fragrances were created to correspond with emotional and sensory associations historically linked to their respective colors. Rather than beginning from traditional perfumery accords, the compositions were conceived through a framework that translated visual inspiration into olfactory expression.
Through this approach, Codice Olfattivo investigated color as a conceptual tool for fragrance design. The Declination project was therefore positioned as a study in the intersection of visual aesthetics and niche perfumery composition.
