Raconteur

Raconteur is founded by Craig Andrade, who transitioned from a 25-year legal career in private equity and capital markets to focus on natural perfumery. Training was undertaken at the Grasse Institute of Perfumery, with further specialization under Mandy Aftel. The practice centers on natural ingredients, with a particular emphasis on Australian native botanicals and their olfactory potential.

Fragrance development is informed by research across botany, history, chemistry, and the sensory connection between scent and the limbic system. Custom compositions have incorporated rare and region-specific extracts, contributing to broader awareness of Australian materials.
