Musicology is a fragrance brand conceived around the relationship between music, scent, memory, and the senses. The concept is built on the shared structures of perfume and music, where notes, accords, harmony, and rhythm are used to create emotional resonance. Both disciplines are carried through air, existing in an intangible and ephemeral state that allows them to move freely through space and time. This immaterial quality is positioned as the foundation of their connection, with scent described as melodic and perfume as symphonic.
The brand was created by Fabien Boukobza, whose extensive experience in perfumery informs the collection’s emotional framework. The fragrances were developed under the direction of Nathalie Lorson, translating musical and sensory memories into structured olfactory compositions.
