Adar
The House of Adar is a European fragrance house with Romanian roots, created by in-house perfumers Dan and Roxana Adar. Its creations were initially produced exclusively through private commissions before a curated public collection was introduced in 2025. The first collection is composed of nine fragrances arranged into three conceptual trilogies exploring themes such as balance, spirituality, ancestry, protection, and transformation. Each fragrance is presented in a hand-crafted bottle made from materials including marble, natural stone, wood, resin, or metal, with every piece accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Core formulas are developed in-house, with selected collaborations involving master perfumers including Antoine Lie, Miguel Matos, and Manuel Attardi. Production is limited to individually numbered micro-batches, and each composition contains an undisclosed "mystery note" as part of its creative identity.
