Forlorn Embers & Black Reigns by Toskovat' is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for Women & Men

Today I remembered what comes after. I remembered my lost embers… Novembers, Decembers. When most prepared for the cold, it was already around me. And when most prepared for the warmth, I was stuck chasing it. Mourning. I wasn’t home, I wasn’t present then and there. … when I visit those old places, I step gentler on our roots… …we had so much more to speak about. But I was a child for the longest time. I know you would say that isn’t such a bad thing. It passed. A sea of darkness followed it. That will pass too. I am the son of the whitest flower and the blackest leaves. I am the abandoned home searching for its lost keys. I allow the light you left inside of me to burn free. And I thank you.

this is amazing

I love the marshmallow and campfire type of smell. This is one of the best toskovat in my opinion. Although it does become quite a headache inducer after a while.

Medieval Night Roasting Marshmallows

Toskovat always does a wonderful job of storytelling through their fragrances, and Forlorn Embers and Black Reigns is no exception. I get a visual of a knight or weary traveller roasting marshmallows on their last campfire rest before a weary journey. There is a wonderful balance of sweet and earthy, and the deeper notes of ash and bourbon add a moody, punchy layer. It also has excellent lasting power. I’d say Last Birthday Cake is somewhat similar (a bit of a moodier more chocolatey scent IMO, so if you enjoyed that, I wouldn’t hesitate to try this one.
