    Today I remembered making wishes and having hope.
    I found this rusty old coin in my pocket, from somebody I can’t recall, from a place I don’t know, with a purpose it hasn’t served. When I was a child and I would find them, I’d keep them until I saw the first well and I would make a wish.
    But now money doesn’t make wishes come true, and there is no well. They dried up. Father told me the holy water font became mouldy. Marble cracked and prayers turned to dust on walls.
    But I still have my hope. I know rain will come and I will melt in the soil I walked on and nature will bring nurture. And more shall live again.

    Brought Back Memories

    I really like this brand with its iconic fragrances. Empty Wishes Well brought back a vivid memory: My father coming in from the barn after the rain, taking his muddy boots off, smelling of hay and feed, preparing black bread with butter and hot tea with honey and a shot of brandy for my brothers and I. The clean smell of fall rain in the air and the warmth inside. I'm half Russian, so this may be why I appreciate Toskavat, Unconventional scent, natural outdoors scent with hints of memories. My tastes aren't traditional,so I recommend you try a sample before buying a full bottle. Beautifully integrated dissimilar elements finely crafted. Long lasting.

    Very hyperspecific childhood memory

    When I wore it, my friend said it smelled exactly like her dad's cologne. And it did. But then our other friend tried it, and it smelled like a very specific memory I have from childhood. I played violin, and whenever I would open my case, my violin would have a velvet cover protecting it, and I loved the smell of this cover so much. It was very woody and warm and smelled also like cloth and rosin in the most comforting way. I had completely forgotten this smell, and never thought I would smell it again on this perfume. I will say it's a much more masculine scent than I was expecting but overall very pleasant.
