    A nice summer take on Black Orchid

    It’s definitely a nice summer/hot weather take on Black Orchid. It’s sheer and wearable. I can’t pick apart different notes very well, but it’s a balanced and harmonious sweet floral. It would be appropriate for the office. It seems to not have a lot of projection and to stay mostly in your personal scent bubble. It’s nice to see it decanted because it’s a lovely pink color. I didn’t like the chestnut note on myself, but I’m not knocking the rating for that. I do think it’s a harmonious scent on a blotter, but my personal chemistry just didn’t react with this one in a pleasing way. I gave it to a friend.
