Hundred Silent Ways

Upon the very first spritz, Hundred Silent Ways is undeniably beautiful. I immediately understood why people compare it to Black Opium—there’s a similar creamy, sweet, inviting opening that feels comforting and elegant.

But within about ten minutes, the fragrance takes a drastic turn. It becomes sharp, almost metallic, and sits harshly at the back of the throat. The dry-down is not just unpleasant—it’s genuinely headache-inducing. For such an expensive perfume, the shift is shocking.

Despite the price difference, Black Opium is by far the better choice in this scent family. Where Black Opium stays warm, wearable, and balanced, Hundred Silent Ways devolves into an almost painful, chemical, borderline nauseating scent. By the time it dries down, it’s honestly one of the most disgusting perfumes I’ve ever smelled.

An elegant first five minutes… followed by hours of regret. Total waste of $400

This scent brings me joy, I would love to wax eloquent but I don't have the words. I completely understand that fragrance is subjective, not everyone will rave about it like me and other like-minded people.

Hundred Silent Ways is my intro to the brand of Nishane. Impeccable first impression as new buyer. It lingers for days on my clothing and hours on my skin. Phenomenal sillage, attention-grabber, compliment magnet etc...

Really nice scent, but it comes out more masculine on my skin than I expected. I may give it to my boyfriend. Lasts 6 hours on my skin

Something about this wasn't my favorite vanilla interpretation BUT it is very unique and definitely merits a sample if you are interested in the notes!

I’m in my 50s and I love this fragrance because it’s not too floral and not too musky. I don’t smell like the inside of my grandma‘s purse, but I don’t smell like a little kid either. The fragrance is warm and sensual but fun.

I get compliments from everyone and people asking what I have on! It stays on me and everything I touch. Love love it!

Bought this because some perfume influencer really hyped it up to have great sillage (bubble of which one can smell you from) and personally have not gotten any compliments on this one. No wow factor to this. It smells like an elevated peach sunscreen. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I should have purchased a bigger bottle.

I love this one but unfortunately for me it doesn’t last.
