Lush, sweet, and deeply intoxicating, Sensual Instinct is a journey through a kaleidoscopic fantasyland where mouthwatering fruit, romantic florals, and rich gourmand notes intertwine with uncontrollable abandon. A must-have for lovers of truly full-bodied fragrance, it's an explosion of deeply resonant, highly colorful scents certain to get your pulse racing. Every moment is full of contrast and serendipitous pairings, as an opening of ultra-bright bergamot and mandarin is matched with sweet, smooth cardamom and boozy whiskey. As the ambered, lushly drawn florals of the heart notes swell, so too does a delectable tiramisu accord, all set against a rich, gently earthy patchouli. And as the gourmand base of coffee, cacao, and vanilla intensifies, so too does the seductive power of this unforgettable scent. Lose yourself in the delicious haze of Sensual Instinct- your body knows what to do.
Bergamot, mandarin, cardamom, saffron, whisky, amberwood, jasmine, rose, tiramisu, patchouli leaves, cacao, coffee, vanilla, oakmoss, cedarwood, white musk
I purchased a sample from Scent Split, which I loved, but then I purchased a sample from another fragrance purveyor. It didn't smell the same. I'm thinking before I purchase a FB, I'd want to smell the bottle at the store...don't want to buy FB online. Anyway, when first applied the perfume, the fragrance is a very slight boozy, fruity, jammy smell. Very delicious, and I think it leans a bit feminine at this point. It definitely reminds me of BR540 with the citrus, jasmine, saffron, oak moss, and cedar wood. Some of the mentioned notes, my nose doesn't pickup on them. BR540 to my nose has a very metallic, iodine scent, which I don't like. Sensual Instinct does not have that scent on my skin. Sensual Instinct lasts hours longer than BR540. I'd say that for at least 4 hours it is not a skin scent. It's not overpowering. You won't have people running from a room because it's too strong, but its notes are present. It lasted over 12 hours on my skin. In the dry down, the fruitiness disappears, and you have that more green, herbal scent, which tends to lean more unisex. I love my sample from Scent Split, but I'm not sure what happened with the other samples. I think I will repurchase a larger decant from Scent Split to see what I think. Time to mull over purchasing a full bottle.
This is a very unfortunate scent. It is hard to describe - it's thick and sticks to the back of the throat, once you spray it you can't escape it, and it is not something for a sophisticated nose of any kind. It is not something I would recommend.
Very pretty sensual fragrance. Long lasting up to 6 - 7 hours.
This fragrance is pleasant, sensual, and maybe a little feminine. It's very similar to Tom Ford's Noir du Noir. Unfortunately Sensual Instinct only lasts about 2 hours on my skin.
reminded me to much baccarat rouge 540 on my skin there was a little change into like a white chocolate wood super sweet smelling didn't care for that but somebody else might
