I saw many reviews saying it was an amazing fragrance. I did not like it. Not my taste…..

I%20wish%20I%20could%20give%20a%20review%20about%20French%20Lover,%20but%20I%20never%20received%20it.%20I%20tracked%20the%20shipment,%20it%20said%20that%20it%20was%20delivered%20but%20I%20didn%27t%20get%20it.%20UPSP%20had%20to%20send%20it%20elsewhere.%20Scent%20Split%20is%20absolutely%20great,%20I%20received%20previous%20orders%20but%20this%20is%20the%20first%20time%20that%20USPS%20didn%27t%20deliver%20my%20order.%20

I can appreciate how rich and deep this fragrance is. It’s very realistic, but just not for me sadly

A great smell. But wish it projected more

Smells pretty good, definitely something Id wear for a date night

With the name "French Lover," I anticipated tobacco, cumin, and civet to reflect Marlboro reds and unwashed underwear. Since I like animalics, that's what I wanted. At first, it's vetiver, angelica (adding some depth and mystery), and oakmoss, a bit like the big colognes of the 70s and 80s (I'm thinking Azzaro pour Homme) but without the lavender and without the oomph. Two hours later, it's an anonymous, slightly sweet wood. If I'm going to trigger someone's allergies, I don't want to do it with something this boring. (Basically, it's Glade Cashmere Woods.)

I prefer spice and wood but this is a nice take on that but lacks longevity.

Very noticeable and recognisable subtle fragrance, lovely transformation over time after application to the clutch
