    Olivia Olfactory is usually right

    I purchased this because Olivia said it smelled like the comfort a mother can give you and she teared up as she was smelling it. I just HAD to see what this smells like. And this is incredible. A floral, creamy, night-blooming, fairytale dream. This is beautiful. The peach and coconut milk add a balance to the jasmine and take you to a place only you can dream of. I bought a full bottle and a 10ml travel spray.

    A Sad Dream

    On paper, Moonpetals sounds like a perfect fragrance - perhaps on someone else it is. On me, Moonpetals is elderly woman not ethereal fairy. The violet is gorgeous but I don’t know if it’s the gardenia or the musk in this scent but unfortunately it is a hard, hard pass for me. Lilac Love by Amouage had a similarly heartbreaking story for me.
