During a trip to Punta Cana last December, my senses were captivated by the aromas of this country. The nuances of cocoa and vanilla from the mysterious spiderlily flower, as well as the deep accents of Dominican cigar tobacco, were captured using Scent Trek technology, allowing me to immortalize the uniqueness of these accords. To enhance the sweet notes of the spiderlily flower, I intertwined woody and amber accords by overdosing Ambrofix, a modern amber note, and Georgywood, an extremely diffusive cedar. On a slightly musky background, I was able to create a sophisticated balance highlighting both brilliance and depth. The marriage of the feminine and addictive notes of the spiderlily flower with the masculine and intense accords of tobacco and tonka bean evokes a spirited escape to the distant lands of Havana, making this fragrance fluid and captivating.
