Delicious

I loved it at first sniff. If you like Gris Charnel, Vanilla Powder, or Santal 33, you might also like this. In the opening the cade oil really comes through. I also smell something sweet which probably comes from the cinnamon. So it’s like a sweet smokey smell with something lactonic and a bit of earl grey. Thats what you smell in the first few minutes. After about 10 min I start to notice the bergamot and then in the dry down the notes blend together to create this delicate madeleine like smell. It’s not exactly like the madeleines I get from the store but very similar. I think the smokey note and milky note create a baked good smell when they blend—It takes about 10 min to get there. I love this. 4 stars because it lasts on my skin about 3 hours. Definitely a close to skin scent. Lasts longer on clothes but does not project. It’s too expensive to justify buying a full size bottle. Definitely give it a try if you’re a fragrance lover. The experience of the opening and dry down are worth at least trying.

Unusual and lovely

There are very few scents that do not either disappear completely on my skin, or become something unpleasant. So I am inclined to fall in love with things that do neither. But Blue Madeline is better than that! It really does invoke Rose Chai (which I do love to drink), and has been my every day scent this hot summer.

Smokey Tea Scent

On my skin all I get is the cade note and a smoky tea. Little to no milky or sweet balsamic notes come off. The praline and sandalwood are no existent. Sadly, this did not work for me. I didn't like it. I wanted a more cookie bergamot tea fragrant and this was not it.

Soft & Lovely

I'll be honest, the bottle got me interested, but the scent is a unique soft tea scent, slightly floral but not over the top, with just a little milky sweetness.. smells like a "lady". Not an old lady, but definitely a grown woman who has her shit together and minds her business. It's nice.
