    Material by Amouage is an Amber Vanilla fragrance for women and men.

    Material speaks about the unseen, the reality behind the immateriality, and uncovers the paradox that encapsulates all. The fragrance unfurls thick and complete with patchouli, solved into the sweltering elemi resin and gummy benzoin, and swirls down into a manifold of precious woods, majestic oud, enveloping vanilla, and prominently tonka bean.

    “Material” is Just as Lovely as “Dior Addict”

    Honestly, this smells so much like Dior Addict that I can barely tell them apart…except for the $$$. A spicy vanilla that’s perfect for the cold weather.

    Material Review

    Material is good, but it’s very unlike any other amouage fragrance. In addition to being unisex, it is both sweet and very subtle. If you’re familiar with amouage, you know their fragrances tend to be quite strong and distinctive. Material brings a refreshing change of pace to that, however, I only wish the scent was a bit more pronounced. It has notes of amber, vanilla, caramel, and some light woody/smokiness.
