The first time I sprayed it on skin, it was as if someone had poured an entire bowl of rice over my head and I didn’t like it. Once it started to dry down, the sandalwood, Cashmeran and iris made the scent warmer and more pleasant. I decided to give it another try a few days later, in colder weather and… voila! Total change. The composition, on my skin at least, smelled more cohesive and rounded. The rice was still there, but not in a foody way. So I know this fragrance will work for me only in cold whether, of which we don’t get much down here in South Florida. So, I’m on a fence about getting a FB. Great buying experience with Split Scent, as usual.

I'm on a quest to find the best rice accord scents so I bought a 5 ml. It is such a lovely creamy sandalwood and I love the rice accord. It's Basmati rice but I thing it would smell better with Jasmine rice. Very lovely.

This was the fragrance that introduced me to perfumes and how sophisticated it can be. The balance between the basmati and sandalwood gives the scent a luxurious and unique appeal.

This fragrance is captivating. The basmati note is spot on and projects beautifully, with the warm, cozy sandalwood making this a perfect fragrance. I can’t recommend highly enough.

Just an ordinary sandal wood sent. I don’t get the rice note may be at the beginning, then it dries down to a generic sandal wood. Very light and fleeting.
