    Babylon by Penhaligon's is an Amber Spicy fragrance for women and men. Babylon was launched in 2019.

     

    Notes:

    Top notes are Nutmeg, Saffron and Coriander; middle note is Cypriol Oil or Nagarmotha; base notes are Vanilla, Cedar and Sandalwood.

    Mild gourmand

    I like Babylon but, for the price, am not sure it is worth buying again. It is a rather mild, almost skin scent on me. I like beefier scents with greater projection and longevity. Still, it is pleasant and if I layer it with some of my other gourmands, it will add some enjoyable woody-earthy elements.

    Intoxicating fragrance

    This is an incredibly beautiful fragrance with great sillage and longevity. Lasts all day on my skin. I had to grab a full bottle after sampling this.

    A great way to try a new fragrance.

    I’d read about this fragrance, and was interested to try it. But perfume is personal and I didn’t want to spend big bucks for something that didn’t work for me. Scent Split was the answer, and yes, Babylon works for me. I’ll be buying the full size soon (or suggesting it as a Mother’s day gift!)

    Beautiful but…

    Sweet beautiful scent.
    But it become almost invisible within an hour.
