Celestial Object

For anyone who enjoys almond, amber, with slightly sweet, powdery fragrances, Celesital Object checks all of those boxes. This stays close to the skin, and is versatile enough to wear day to day, year-round. On my skin, it lasted about 6 hours on about 9 sprays (1 behind each ear, 3 on the back of the neck, 1 inside each elbow and 1 on each pulse point). This is excellent layered with Floraiku's Sound of a Ricochet as the almond is very complimentary of sandalwood.

It's a lot more gourmand than I anticipated, but I found this to be so much more complex and interesting than any other gourmand I've smelled. It's well rounded and creamy. Almond is definitely the most prominent note, followed by the drier rice note that sits closer to your skin. There's no syrupy-ness or sickly sweet vanilla note. I did find that the incense note disappeared on my skin, but on paper it stayed.

Absolutely love scent split for giving me the ability to smell all these beautiful scents without purchasing whole bottles. Im loving liis celestial objects, i was suprised by the almond cookie vibes. I will definitely be looking at this again when weather cools down

Celestial Object opens with a promising blend of savory rice, sweet cream, and almond. While it sits firmly in the gourmand category, the execution feels entirely synthetic. Instead of the cozy warmth I expected from these notes, it reads more like scented markers and scratch-and-sniff stickers. It’s a fantastic concept held back by cheap materials—or perhaps my evolving nose has just made me a bit of a fragrance snob. Five minutes into the drydown, a bitter, paper-like note emerges as the rice fades into the background. Ultimately, it’s just an okay release for me.

And to end this journey down childhood memory lane, there is a hint of play-doh left on my skin.

This perfume made me realize I am in fact not a fan of rice notes in perfumes. I really did like the incense note here but this was not my vibe. It almost smelled like old paper, can definitely be someone else's vibe.

The opening is very almond-forward that is a little hard for me to push through. However I LOVE the dry-down. I layer this with JHAG Not a Perfume and it substantially helps the staying power. Quietly enveloping, skin close amber forward fragrance that gives itself to fall/winter cozy evenings. If you love almond you will love the opening, it is just not my favorite..however I am patient for the absolutely gorgeous dry down

This one is not for me. Too marzipan/chocolate sweet. I thought the notes were promising, but there are other sweet vanilla perfumes that are more my speed. (Happy Dust.). From this perfume house, I prefer Choux Choux or Ethereal Wave.
