Cacao

This a nice cocoa scent. It is soft, powdery almost dry and a touch sweet. Unfortunately it is not as rich and creamy as I would like. It is also a bit light and doesn't wear very long. So it is not my favorite chocolate perfume. But it is a nice chocolate perfume and it is worth trying if you like chocolate scents.

I really enjoy cacao as a note but was sadly very disappointed in this. To me, it smells like very cheap Hershey's syrup mixed in sour cream. I had ordered samples of roughly 10 different cacao based fragrances to compare and this was unfortunately my least favorite. I keep ordering HS fragrances to try because she seems awesome and I love sampling some of her more conceptual scents, but I find most of this house to be misses for me. While obviously the vast majority of perfumers are not just using naturally derived materials, the HS fragrances really smell quite chemical and fake most of the time.

If you are a chocolate fragrance lover, do not sleep on this perfume, it smells just like hot cocoa in the best way, my only complaint is longevity, I love this perfume and end up going through it too quickly because it doesn't last on the skin, but it does last when sprayed on clothing
