Hermessence Santal Massoïa

It's nice -- more subtle and woodly than Le Labo Santal 33. However, for me, there is just not enough projection or sillage. It feels like it fades really quickly.

straight up smells like a retirement home

Sandalwood has been a problem for me for years. Sandalwood based perfumes always seem to have a dill note. It makes the perfume smell like pickles to me. This past month I have surprisingly found two without the dreaded dill note. One is Santal Massoia, a massoia wood and sandalwood fragrance. It is light and airy and so very pretty. Even on my perfume eating skin, it lasts at least six hours in warm weather. I will also spray it on clothes to make it last longer. I will be getting a 9ml decant until I can save for a bottle. Love it!

Hermessence Santal Massoia is my signature scent, and I always receive compliments from men and women. I love the Scent Split size, so I can take it with me while traveling.

This is a soft, soothing sandalwood. Very light and airy, ethereal. In a word - lovely.

I received a sample Hemesessence Santal Massoia very quickly. I like that the sample was not in a mini spray bottle as those seem to dysfunction a lot and then the perfume cannot be sampled adequately. The sample seems to be the real deal. the packaging was good too. Thank you Scent Split. Will use again

The 1ml decant lasted me two weeks, with finger rubs on the neck, behind my ears and on my arms. And it projected very nicely the more I walked around places. Very lovely
