Banana Pudding

Banana Pudding is one of the most beautiful gourmands I have ever smelled.

I had the opportunity to meet Jessi, the owner and perfumer of Elysian, and hearing the story behind this fragrance made me appreciate it even more. She told me it was inspired by her grandmother’s homemade banana pudding, but also by the memories of sitting on the porch together surrounded by the flowers her grandmother had planted. Once you know that, the fragrance makes perfect sense.

This is not your typical synthetic banana scent. It smells like real banana pudding made with creamy vanilla pudding and fresh banana slices, just as it traditionally is. The banana is soft and natural, while the delicate florals add an airy, nostalgic feeling that keeps it from becoming overly sweet.

If you’re looking for a loud candy banana fragrance, this isn’t it. This is a memory bottled up. It’s comforting, beautifully balanced, and one of the most unique banana fragrances I’ve ever experienced.

Gourmand lovers beware… this is nothing like the scent notes described. Unfortunately I didn’t smell not even a pinch of vanilla , it’s all just jasmine and old lady white diamonds white musks smell . Highly disappointed in this fragrance

I love the way this is balanced. It’s super artistic niche so if you’re looking for laffy taffy banana you won’t get it here.

It was absolutely disgusting. Smelled like maybe a banana in the trash.

It's odd this smelled nothing like banana pudding. Not a gourmand at all. Smelled like Incense, smelled like an herb shop.
