Philosykos Eau de Parfum by Diptyque is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for Women and Men.

Philosykos deepens the essence of the original Eau de Toilette, placing the lush fig note at the heart of a more intense, creamy composition. The fragrance opens with a fresh blend of fig leaf and ripe fig, invoking the verdant aroma of sun-drenched greenery. A milky coconut note in the heart accentuates the fig, creating a smooth, sunlit warmth. In the base, cedarwood and woody accords lend a grounding depth, evoking the entirety of the fig tree. Philosykos captures the essence of summer, both fresh and warm, like a Mediterranean grove.

Perfect for those who love earthy, green fragrances, Philosykos is ideal for any season, offering a sophisticated embrace of nature.

Fresh green wood

Have you ever taken a limb from a young tree and split it open? The damp green inside is what this perfume smells like. Almost fresh cut grass. I do not smell coconut, I’m sure it’s there as a balancing note but it does not shine. While I enjoyed the experience this is not the scent for me.

smells like fresh grass but creamy over time

Too grassy

If you like green scents, this is for you.

You already know

Just get it, you won’t regret it. The fig of all figs, it doesn’t last long? Neither does a real fig, eat up. Juicy fig, creamy coconut water, green juices oozing out, light wood barely there to balance & remind you of home earth

Smells like a broken weed stem

I am not a fan of this perfume. It literally smells like a plant that has been broken.

Heavenly

I just want to live inside the scent but it doesn’t last long on the skin

Drown me in this

Spraying this absolute work of art is like snapping the branch of a fig tree right under your nose. It's bright and green and uplifting, and as it dries down the intensity of the green gives way to creamy silky fig. It isn't a super high performance scent - it stays close to the skin and last about 3-4 hours on me. Regardless, I keep coming back for the experience and it never disappoints.

Diptyque Philosykos EDP

It wasn't the scent I was expecting. What a shame.
