Velvet Haze

I did really like the smell but in the end, I felt like smelled a little too mature for me (im 20). At first, I got wiffs of leather/rhum. But the prominent note would be patchouli, like described. When you have it long enough on your skin it does get a little creamier, but I felt that it also got stronger!! If I could describe the smell in few words, I would say it smell like a jazz club (at least the ones I went to!).

This smells like one of those little shops that sell Muslim oils and incense. It puts you in a relaxed mood. It is a more masculine scent for an older sophisticated man.

Such a sophisticated scent

One of my favorite fragrances to date.....heady and ethereal.....one footstep into the 60's; the first notes are quite bold and then simmer into a velvety, blanketed layer on your skin.
The only con is it evaporates too quickly and does not stay with you longer than 30 minutes. Having said that, it still is extraordinary and should be a fragrance let loose on the world!

Its beautiful and sexy. Cacao and wild musk crazy hot!! Staple for me!

Love the fragrance, subtle but lasting, powdery and feminine.

I was really excited to get the sample. But subsequently really disappointed as it is a really weak fragrance. Not to mention no staying power.

Not my style

Love the scent!

This fragrance has all of my favorite notes from top to bottom: Ambrette, patchouli, coconut and musk. It layers very well with my Hempz Age Defying body lotion (which also has musky notes). It is warm yet not cloying or overpowering and the dried down scent is irresistable. I would buy it over and over again
