It's nice to be able to get a sample of a perfume without having to buy an entire bottle. My wife really enjoyed the samples
1996 Inez & Vinoodh
I had high hopes for this one and after trying at least 11 Byredo fragrances (with no luck except maybe Black Saffron which is only wearable sparingly, its so strong). I was really looking forward to receiving this sample, so much so that I even purchased the 6 ml sample instead of the 1 ml as it sounded right up my alley. Straight out of the vial I immediately got putrid and old. It reminds me of playing in my grandmothers attic and finding perfume bottles that belonged to HER mother! Just to give you an idea, I tried to give the sample to three different women and their reactions varied from "oh my God- ugghh" to "Yuck!" I think a person has to have a really unique body chemistry for this to work. I couldn't stand it enough to get to the dry down when I tried it so maybe its better then, but seriously, one of the most disgusting scents I've tried.
I love Vinoodh so much because of the top notes that are perfectly blended and the spicy notes that place this fragrance over the top.
