"The iconic American surf documentary `The Endless Summer` (1966) and The Beach Boys sparked off an entire movement of good vibrations in California during the 1960s. Once the privilege of Hawaiian royalty, surfing today is more than riding waves: it’s a lifestyle. Recently, professional big wave surfer Nic Von Rupp invited me to encounter the ambiance of his native Nazaré , a coastal town situated on the Atlantic Ocean in Portugal. With its beautiful raw rock formations, magnificent swells, and air characterised by salty sea winds, it made a profound impact on me. Atlântico EdP by 19-69 is inspired by the renowned coordinates 308° NWN, famed for its towering waves near Nazaré ́s coast."
