African Leather

I bought a 5ml sample, twice. I was debating on getting a full bottle. I probably won’t. It’s a great scent; like a spicy tea cabinet with a dry dusty leather saddle and some floral undertones. Maybe it’s the bergamot, not floral. Lasts all day with mild silage. I actually think this shines better in the heat.

Not leather in here, disappointing

African Leather is a fragrance that commands attention from the very first spray. Its opening, while slightly boozy to my nose, quickly gives way to a breathtaking dry-down—rich, refined, and irresistibly magnetic. It is, without question, the scent that has earned me the most compliments in my life, and surprisingly, many from men. In a Latin American culture where such gestures between men are rare due to machismo, this fragrance transcends barriers and breaks the rules. The leather here is nothing short of exquisite—warm, elegant, and masterfully blended. A true statement scent, and one I wholeheartedly recommend.

I got a 2ml sample vial and cannot stop going back to it for a 'hit.' I have gathered a whole host of different little sample vials in my search for a few new fragrances to wear. This AL hit me right away as I wanted a leathery masculine scent, not floral but unique. This checks all the boxes just don't want to drop 2 or 3 hundred on one bottle so looking for a smaller size to make sure I will really stay with it. All the cost issues aside, I think this is something I have to have in my arsenal. I've sampled at least a dozen new fragrances in the past 2 months, some very expensive and African Leather really stands out as unique. I guess there is a reason I keep going back to that little sampler for another 'taste'.
