This brand new concept from Romano Ricci is a modern day fragrance that is 100% synthetic and created without allergens.

    Not a Perfume is made of 1 single synthetic ingredient Cetalox. Cetalox is a molecular creation that comes from the organic research. Developed by Firmenich in the 1950's to replace Ambergris, a very rare natural secretion of whales, Ambroxan comes in the form of white crystals. It is usually used as a back note in perfume composition, even if its smell is curiously quite far from its original inspiration.

    Not exactly a split

    I have the authentic perfume but wanted one for travel, and they have definitely added alcohol to the “split”. Considering what I paid for a small travel size, I’m better off buying a full bottle of the real stuff and splitting it myself. Not exactly a transparent transaction.

    Pleasant scent

    Very light, pleasant scent with a hint of sweet

    This likes cooler weather

    I love this because, like Glossier You (when it first came out), it smells very much like it's made for me. That's when the weather is cooler. When it was really hot & humid, this fragrance just disappeared on me & was less than a skin scent. The slightly cooler fall weather is better for this perfume. It's soft and subtle and projects to about arm's length. On me, the dry down is powder & amber with a little bit of airiness to it. I like to wear this to snuggle with someone or even just to sleep (alone). It's very much a scent that plays differently on everyone. On my friend, it's almost citrus-like, which is weird.
