Rive d’Ambre by Tom Ford is an Amber fragrance for women and men.
Unlike what the title may suggest, Rive d’Ambre is a fresh and soothing work of citruses made by the perfumer Olivier Gillotin to capture a refined gentility in aromatic citrus aromas. The scent softly opens with a full-bodied compilation of crisp citrus notes including bitter orange, lemon, bergamot, yuzu, and mandarin orange, deepened with a glass of XO cognac and cocktailed with a fist of mints and tarragon. A base of cardamom, sandalwood, cedarwood, and tolu balsam empower the dry down with a delicate warmth.
