L.T. Piver
L.T. Piver is one of France's oldest perfume houses, having been founded in Paris in 1774 as À la Reine des Fleurs by glove-maker and perfumer Michel Adam. The business was later developed by Louis-Toussaint Piver, under whose leadership it expanded throughout Europe and into the United States. During the 19th century, factories were established in Paris and Grasse, and the house became known for technical innovations in perfume production, early use of synthetic aroma materials, and the development of fragrances such as Héliotrope Blanc, Pompeïa, Rêve d'Or, and Cuir de Russie. Royal warrants were granted by several European courts, while international recognition was earned through awards at major world exhibitions. After multiple ownership changes throughout the 20th century, the house was acquired by Nelly Chenelat in 2021, with its historical heritage and French perfumery traditions continuing to be preserved.
