SIAM 1928
SIAM1928 is a Thai fragrance house established in 2019 and rooted in a family tradition of fragrance production dating back to 1928. Its origins are linked to Nam-Ob Prung Chaokhun, a traditional Thai scented water historically used in Buddhist ceremonies and cultural rituals throughout Thailand. Many of the original fragrance formulas have been preserved for more than ninety years.
The brand draws inspiration from Thai poetry, folklore, literature, history, and traditions, with each fragrance accompanied by Thai and English verses reflecting its theme. Compositions are created using a blend of natural and aroma materials sourced globally, alongside traditional Thai ingredients such as borneol, Strobilanthes nivea, and Thai scented water produced through traditional candle-smoking techniques. SIAM1928 is also recognized for its ceramic perfume bottles, which are crafted in Thailand and inspired by traditional vessels used in Thai perfumery.
