Order Fulfillment 

Orders are shipped Monday through Friday. We pride ourselves on shipping your order as fast as possible, usually within two (2) business days after it is placed, although in some cases we may need up to five (5) business days to fulfill your order. Holidays and sales may result in longer shipping times, despite our best effort to minimize that. 

Occasionally some products will run out of stock due to large orders that come in before inventory is updated. This may result in a delay in shipping just that item or your entire order. We will notify you if this happens. 

 

Returns, Exchanges, Replacements, Refunds

 

At Scent Split, we have a strict return policy for both samples and full bottles, with separate guidelines for each. Please read the detailed information below. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at support@scentsplit.com.

Return of Samples & Decants

Non-Returnable Items

We absolutely guarantee that the sample or decant of perfume you purchase from Scent Split is genuine, authentic perfume taken from the manufacturer’s bottle and decanted by hand. We, unfortunately, cannot guarantee that you will like it; you may even hate it.

Due to the nature of our products and our commitment to hygiene and safety, we do not offer refunds or accept returns on any samples or decants once the outside box or envelope has been opened, even if the sample or decant remains unused.

 

Returnable Items

Returns are accepted if the outside box or envelope is unopened and sealed as originally received.

 

 

Return of Full Bottles

 

Unopened and Unused Bottles

If the perfume bottles originally came with cellophane wrapping, returns are only accepted if the cellophane wrapping is intact and the packaging is unopened. Some bottles do not originally come with cellophane wrapping. For those, returns are accepted if the perfume packaging is unopened and the bottle has not been sprayed.

 

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns if the perfume box is opened in any way or the perfume was sprayed. This includes:

  • If the cellophane wrapping was opened.

  • If the perfume bottle has been sprayed.

  • If the bottle had a security seal that was tampered with or broken.

  • Any other signs of usage or tampering.

 

International Orders

We cannot accept returns on international orders.

 

 

Return Process

  1. Initiation

    Contact us within 30 days of the delivery date to initiate a return. Email us at support@scentsplit.com with your order number and the reason for your return. Await our response. If your return is accepted, we will email you a return label to ship the item back to us. Please do not ship the perfume to us without receiving the return label.

  2. Preparation and Shipping

    Carefully pack the item in its original packaging. Affix the provided return label to the package. Ship the package back to us within seven calendar days of receiving the return label. We cannot accept returns if the returned item is shipped more than seven calendar days after we email the return label.

  3. Verification

    Once we receive the returned item, we will verify its condition to ensure it meets our return policy criteria. This verification process can take up to 10 days. If the item does not meet our return policy, we will contact you to arrange payment for shipping the item back to you.

  4. Refund/Replacement

    If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method. If a replacement is approved and available, it will be shipped to you promptly.

  5. Shipping Charges

    Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.

 

 

Damages and issues


Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within five (5) days of delivery if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Reporting Damaged Items

  1. Take a Photo: Photograph the damaged item and its outside packaging.
  2. Email Us: Send the photo to support@scentsplit.com within five days of delivery. Include your order number and details of the damage.
  3. Keep the Damaged Product: Keep the damaged product in your possession until we close the case.
