Parfums de Nicolai

Parfums de Nicolaï was founded in Paris in 1989 by Patricia de Nicolaï and Jean-Louis Michau as an independent, family-owned fragrance house. Patricia de Nicolaï, granddaughter of Pierre Guerlain, was trained by Jean-Paul Guerlain before gaining experience in the corporate fragrance industry. The house was established to allow fragrance creation to be carried out independently under family ownership. Fragrances are developed in the brand's Paris laboratory and produced at its workshop in La Ferté-Saint-Aubin using carefully selected raw materials. Patricia de Nicolaï became the first woman to receive the International Perfumer Prize from the French Society of Perfumers and later served as President of the Osmothèque. The brand continues to be family-managed, with its fragrances distributed in more than 75 countries through boutiques and retail partners worldwide.
