    Oud Minérale by Tom Ford is a Woody Aquatic fragrance for women and men. 

     

    Done by the Givaudan perfumer Shyamala Maisondieu, Oud Minerale is a fragrance to evoke the invigorating force of the etesian winds of the Aegean Sea. With a sunlit driftwood woodiness of pink peppercorns, infused within the saline seaweeds, the fragrance opens to woo and impress all. The blend of earth and water enhances with a spiky peppery oud wood, warm styrax, and luminous ambergris that gives the impression of the enigmatic depths of a silver-surfaced ocean.

    A decent, non offensive salty sea breeze scent. Only lasts about 4 hours on my skin.

    Unique and Classy

    Some do not like the opening but I really do. Then it settles into very classy scent with balsam note. Very clean scent.

    In search of a fresh, ocean/marine scent minus the suntan lotion smell. This one *sounded* promising, but the reality was different. On my skin, it had a dirty fuel tinged patchouli aroma that was decidedly unpleasant. So happy I was able to sample it before investing in an unwearable perfume.
