Je Ne Sais Quoi

Je Na Sais Quoi opens with Genmaicha tea followed by rice grains and hazelnut notes. It’s sweet, green, and comfy. It’s great to wear at home as a cozy scent.

I'm not to fond of the opening which smells like corn chips in my opinion. But, the dry down is awesome and makes a perfume I'd stick with.

I really wanted to like this but on my clothes this turns slightly rancid to my nose but is much better on my skin thankfully. The matcha and rice just turns a little too sour for me to love it completely but I still can find parts of it that I like. Glad to have got to experienced this, but was a slight let down.

It’s a lighter version of White Rice (without the perfumy aspect) plus an added green tea note?

Hear me out - this smells like the steam rising from a rice cooker as soon as you open it after it sings its completion song. But in the best way possible. Imagine that steam, but without any accompanying warmth; instead this is cool and fresh, melting into a sweet grassyness that is *just* appropriate for summer. Honestly, I didn't like the first wear of this but by the time by 2ml was done, I wasn't so mad at it. Probably wouldn't buy it again but definitely one of those perfumes I love talking about, hence the 4 stars.

I'm no big perfume collector or anything, just a girl looking for the perfect signature scent. I have been addicted to matcha lately so have gone done a rabbit hole trying to find scents that feature that earthy clean vibe.

I gave this 5 stats because I do think it matches the description, its just not what I'm personally looking for. Its a tad lighter scent than what I want, but it is good. I definitely get more tea and rice with just a tiny hint of floral. A nice scent for someone looking for something light and easy for every day wear.

This is such a beautiful rice scent. It lasts so long, especially on clothes. I have gotten many compliments.

The initial notes read like lemon blueberry- or fruit loops in the most mature way. The next wave you get contains your lovely toasted rice notes with the powder matcha tea. It transforms, it’s noticeable and it smells very unique in different people. Truly lovely

It smells *very* sweet, which might be off-putting if you aren't ready for that. If you've ever had "butter mochi" it smells exactly like that. Overall nice, but I would definitely get a smaller sample if you aren't sure you want it.
