Inspired by the deadly grace of the viper so exquisitely represented on the bottle, Mortal Skin is a meditation on danger, passion and hypnotic obsession that straddles eastern and western perfumery as only Stephane Humbert Lucas can do. Mortal Skin opens with tantalizing mystery, as a cooling, otherworldly ink accord meets sweet, sticky blackberry and resinous rockrose, at once captivating and threatening, familiar and alien. In the heart, the snake rears back to strike, warm opoponax and myrrh washing over us along aromatic and sweet florals and wisps of spice, hypnotizing in their sway. And once we've realized the power contained within, the resinous base of labdanum, styrax and birch, it's far too late to escape- Mortal Skin has us completely in its grip. Beguiling and seductive, this is a fragrance not to be missed.
Blackberry, Ink, Rockrose, Opoponax, Iris, Davana, Myrrh, Cardamom, Ambergris, Storax, Sandalwood, Labdanum, Civet, Atlas Cedarwood, Birch, Musk

One of the best colognes over ever smelt has longevity and one of the best dry downs
didn't smell civet, and i can't distinguish the woods from the rest of it, it all is very singular. it's a luxurious well-blended smell. it's initial impression is musky, floral.
Great
Mortal Skin
This fragrance has received many high ratings from people around the world. A perfumer I know who has created some masterpieces think this scent fall far short of Lucas's best ( O Hira). I actually like it but agree it isn't near the top of his best work
this is truly something different, I thought that I may not like it becasue other says, it smell like ink, dirty soil, rubber tires and I thought it can't be that bad, after wearing it for 3 hours I fell in love with it, yes, don't get me wrong on the others opinion you can definitely smell the ink soil and rubber tire but in a good sexy way. it's very mysterious. Love it!!!
It’s a well blended fragrance but the longevity for the price point is horrible.
Sweet and strong, will be buying the full bottle
Addictive scent
This is a very well made fragrance, incredibly complex, on my skin I get: Ink, Iris, Sandalwood, Cedarwood, Labdanum, Rose, Musk and the notes keep coming at you and keep evolving, as I said very complex, mysterious, beautiful! it's one of my favorite fragrances of all time.
