Ylang Ylang Nosy Be

It smelled as described and I knew it was either hit or miss and it’s just a miss for me. It lasts half the day for me which was a good thing because I quickly decided it was a no. But it’s a good perfume.

Very light scent once it dried down. At first it smelled very "old lady perfume". The powdery vibe went away, though. It does not scream tropical to me - just a light general fruity/flural whiff. Not bad by any means - just not the signature scent I am looking for :)

This scent is absolutely addictive! It’s immediately enveloping and transporting to a humid tropical paradise at night. You can hear the hum of insects and you’re surrounded by the syrupy scent of flowers all around. The emotional register is hazy, narcotic, dreamlike. The projection is medium to strong. Very good wear. Strong 6 hours on me, wore down to a soft sweet scent around 9 hours. Wonderful for summer. Office appropriate. In the sense that it’s extremely floral, it nods to a traditionally more “feminine” category of perfume, but this is not in any way “girly.” So it’s certainly wearable by anyone who enjoys florals. It would also be nice for creative layering, since I perceive this as a completely integrated scent, not a busy mishmash of disparate notes. Going on my wishlist for a larger decant or full bottle!

People really hyped this up but it was just meh for me. Smells generically fruity. Doesn't stand out in a sea of perfumes with this scent profile. Scent Split did great with shipping tho!

Every nose is different and many people love Ylang in Gold but unfortunately for me, there’s a note in it that makes me nauseous. This one is perfect for me. It’s a citrusy white flower with great silage. An ylang ylang spring/summer intoxication!

Good performance and silage. Not for summer since it’s a little dark, spiced. But really great scent.

I've honestly never cared for Ylang Ylang and after seeing a couple videos about this scent, I bought a sample. This is such a bright, sweet, summery scent with great sillage. To clarify, it's not too sweet so don't let that deter you.

I've since purchased the full size and worn several times already.
