sweet but not too sweet

One of the best perfumes I’ve ever smelled. It’s a soft, sensual gourmand with this addictive airy fluffiness that really comes through more in the spray bottle than in the 1ml sample. The banana note opens a little green, which I wasn’t sure I’d love, since I usually prefer sweet, overripe banana, but it works so perfectly. It balances the richness beautifully. This is truly a masterpiece.

At first I did not understand it. But after a few wears in different settings I became obsessed. The initial spray is playful and flirty. I get a surge of joy from the banana and it almost smells like bubblegum or laffy taffy. Then it becomes fresh but seductive at the same time. It really works well all year round. I like to wear it when I am out with my boyfriend and I am not sure how the day is going to go… this perfume plays on your energy. During the day its fresh playful and flirty. At night it is sexy and seductive. You can also layer it with other perfumes. Its so fun and banana is definitely a note that is worth considering and on the rise! I look forward to getting a full bottle.

It’s ok just not for me

While you can def smell banana, it’s VERY subtle, and not that fake banana, but like real fresh banana. This reminds me of banana pudding, where what you’re mainly smelling is Nilla Wafers and then there’s some cut up fresh banana in it…. This is like that. Except there’s some floral in there too. It’s complex and beautiful and not too perfume-y once it dries. Highly recommended!

I follow the influencer who created this. I wasn't going to spend almost 300 for a scent I can't smell first. I was thrilled to see SS had samples. It is a wonderful, fruity and feminine scent. Sweet but not candy sweet. Unique and beautiful. I've gotten so many compliments when I wear it. When I first got my sample I sprayed while I was wearing my bathrobe. A week later I needed to use my bathrobe and it still had the scent on it. I sprayed my jacket and hung it in my closet. The scent lasted almost 2 weeks. It's a pretty, classy and unique. Full bottle worthy. I love this ❤️

In the first half hour of wearing it, I was reminded of a spiced orange creamsicle. It dried down to a gorgeous orange, ambery rum. On me I think the banana note hides within the orange, which is to say that the fruity notes are well balanced. Sometimes amber fragrances can be reminiscent of cough syrup, but that's definitely not the case here. It's sweet and sexy without being overbearing, and makes me think of an orange sunset on the beach. It's perfect for a night out or a romantic date! I find myself wishing I had this when I went on a Caribbean cruise, because this would match that vibe very well!

This is stunning, sweet and sophisticated.. Ambrosia Imperial exceeded my expectations on so many levels. The longevity is outstanding. I got about 8 hours on skin. I'm grateful to Scent split not only for the price and the authenticy, but the amount in the bottle is enough for you to experience the fragrance in enough time to decide if a bigger bottle is worth buying.
