Choux Choux

I first tried Choux Choux in store along with all of the other Liis perfumes—Choux Choux stood out most to me and I kept coming back to smell it.

I’m not big on sweet scents or gourmands AT ALL, so I was super surprised that I liked choux choux so much. But I think that’s exactly why I love it so much.

This scent literally smells like cardamom to me (which is amazing because I LOVE cardamom, I even put it into my coffee when I brew it). It gives me the sweetness I look for at night or in colder weather—but the “spiciness” helps counter the sweetness in this beautiful way that keeps it airy. This is definitely a unique scent because I don’t usually see gourmands balance citrus with the creamier notes, but I think that’s why it works so well for me. I can definitely see people either loving this scent or hating it. I just so happen to think it’s *chef’s kiss* perfect.

I thought this would be an airy lightly sweet scent, but it’s pretty heavy and very sweet. This smelled really juvenile to me, perhaps it’s just not my type of scent profile but I’m glad I gave it a try!

Initially it felt incredibly subtle and couldn't really find anything except some powdery notes and vanilla. Twenty minutes later its has finally developed into a warm vanilla, sandalwood, powder scent. This definitely leans feminine for me and was wonderful. I won't be buying a fully bottle, but I feel like for a younger lady this would be divine.

Wow!! This is one of my favorites! It is better than Bake by Akro. I think the salt is making it better. It tingles my nose at first but I love how warm and cozy it is. Its perfect for autumn, winter, spring and even cold rainy summer days. Its nice for work (i work in schools), chill weekends, bedtime. It provides me w. Comfort. It is soothing. I will definitely get a full bottle.

I was not sure what to expect. I had heard conflicting statements about this scent. When I received my sample, I thought it smelled nice through the bottle. Then, I actually wore it the next day. This was a love at first spray on my skin. My family smelled it and was LOVED it, and that is a rarity. My daughter, 6 years old, asked to wear some too. I immediately ordered a full bottle. This is not a beast mode, nor is it a cloud of silage. It is a scent for you and those you chose to let into your space. I just love it!

The first 2 days I wore it I was very unsure but now I wear it everyday. I will be purchasing a full size bottle for sure. It’s a little sweet but it’s light and airy and a good layering scent for sure!

Grabbed a few Liis samples (Choux Choux, Studied, and Ethereal Wave) and Choux Choux was the unexpected favorite! I was expecting a cloying Yankee Candle, but what I got was a fluffy croissant with lemon curd and butter on the beach!

This is such a beautiful fragrance. Creamy and lemon forward and all the good things gourmand but light and airy.

This is a nice & pleasant scent. Not for me but definitely if you like a creamy, citrusy scent, this is definitely for you. Nice for spring.
