The longevity is great for a “light” and “fresh” fragrance. It also layers very well with Saint Julep body oil from Imaginary Authors… totally discovered that on accident. I end up smelling like sweet mint lemonade all day. Perfect for hot summer days!

Very intoxicating and intriguing smell. Bright opening of mint and citrus with florals on the back end. Don’t be afraid to spray 6-10 sprays.

This is such a lovely scent. To me, this is what a happy day would smell like. The mint is the star of the show—fresh but not sharp or dry. Instead, it feels warm, like mint leaves that have been sitting in the sun for a while. There's something incredibly uplifting and comforting about it, and it genuinely makes me smile every time I wear it.

The longevity is very good as well, which was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed it so much that I didn't hesitate to order a full bottle. This is one of those fragrances that instantly puts me in a good mood.

Wow I really like this scent. It’s very springy/ summery and light. I get a lot of the mint right away and it’s a very clean green, uplifting scent. I got a lot of compliments on it and I think it’s a pretty easy scent to wear, I wore my sample for a few days and then immediately ordered a full size!

The basil and mint are so fun, not harsh, and very fresh. Usually I’m not a "rose" person because I think it makes things smell older, but this rose does a great job balancing the scent. It begins very minty/basil-y, but the rose becomes slightly more noticeable with time. After a few hours the scent is very ‘soft.’ I might describe it even as a bit sweet, but not gourmand. I like that there's no powder scent, which happens with many scents on me. It stays fresh and clean the entire time, despite the "sweetness." It’s youthful and inviting.

This opens with a sharp, invigorating burst of crushed mint and bright grapefruit, almost icy in its freshness. It’s not “soapy clean”—it’s green and alive, like snapping a mint stem in the sun. As it settles, a sheer rose and hint of cassis add a dewy softness without turning it traditionally floral. The whole scent stays airy and translucent, more like fresh air moving through a garden than a composed perfume.

In the drydown, soft white musk blends into the skin, creating that “your skin but better” effect—clean, cool, and effortless. It starts bold and almost aggressively fresh, then relaxes into something minimal and intimate. It doesn’t project heavily or last forever, but that’s part of the appeal—it wears like a breeze, more a mood than a statement.

Both of my samples from ELDO were a bit of a letdown. You or Someone Like You started out really fresh and minty, herbal, and bright, definitely unisex with a slight lean into masculine territory, but not overtly so.Then it got really citrusy. However, like with the other sample (Ghost in the Shell), I started picking up a harsh "perfumey" note. It settled into something obnoxious to my nose. The perfumey smell is like this screechy, "I'm wearing a pErfuMe!!!" synthetic alcohol smell. Not all have this, but I find it mostly in mainstream scents. I was surprised it was present in both of my ELDO samples. I don't think I'll try any others from this house

dry down is way fainter and sweeter than i like, but the first scent to emerge smells like a mint leaf crushed between fingers. absolutely beautiful and fresh and green.
