Aberdeen Lavender by Creed is an Amber Fougere fragrance for women and men.
Aberdeen Lavender is a supreme lavender that pays homage to the boldest iconic lavender-oriented fragrance of old times. This rare gem of lavender was made by perfumer Julien Rasquinet. It opens with a robust opening of rosemary, artemisia, lemon, and bergamot and grows towards lavender, tuberose, rose, and lily flowers. The lavender is the main actress of the composition, even when the perfume engulfs in a dry down of patchouli, vetiver, and soft delicate leather accord that give sensuality to the floral lavender.

I was excited to get Aberdeen Lavender, and had high hopes that I would love it. It’s a decent scent. I get fresh out of the bath vibes when I put it on. To me, it’s more of a masculine scent- maybe something my husband would wear. Over all, it was okay.
This is an odd mixture. Unlike Creed's Cedre Blanc, where you can taste the cedar, Aberdeen Lavender has a surprisingly muted lavender character blended with other floral notes. After an hour, it smells like frankincense and leather. It's not bad, but different from what I expected. I'm glad I tried a 1 mL sample as this one is not really for me.
The service and packaging from Scent Split was excellent; I definitely would recommend it to others.
I don't smell any lavender in this.
