intriguing, unforgettable - not for everyone

TL:DR Get a sample! A little out there but absolutely fascinating fragrance. More for someone bold/dominant, mysterious, and maybe more used to wearing stand-out perfumes. Also, it's VERY strong!

Where do I start? Disclaimer: I'm very new to perfumes so . . . take it all with a grain of salt. I know this is a unisex fragrance but I feel that it leans slightly more masculine because of the oud, patchouli and cedar (raspberry is giving a little femme - top note though so it doesn't long) but I also think a lot of women can pull it off too because of the marine and ginger notes (and anyone can smell however they want to anyway, period!). I also think this is an evening/fancy occasion fragrance. The top fruity notes are quite nice honestly but I don't think they last. The middle ginger note gives this a nice spice and the oud, cedar and patchouli base notes are giving dark, heavy campfire smoke. I don't know how to describe what I think is the benzoin resinoid but I think that this is what gives the fragrance its slightly sweet licorice-y plastic type scent (this isn't a great description and is not as bad as it sounds, lol) - maybe it was the marine accord?. Overall, I initially got red fruit, spice, and smoke from this. As it settles, the spice still lingers a little and the smoke, marine and metallic earth stay. A fascinating olfactory experience! I definitely wouldn't wear this since I'm into the light feminine perfumes but this was really just a fun experiment for me. Proceed at your own curiosity! Hope this dissertation helps someone!
