Rhubarb & Custard 1;29

This literally smells like rhubarb custard pie. I pick up a faint hint of some of the citrus notes and the hay note. I think the rhubarb, biscuit and vanilla notes work so well together, that's what makes it smell like the rhubarb.

I may look like an idiot, but I thought this would be more gourmand- like a sweet, delicious rhubarb pie. Sweet yet tangy if you will. It smells more herbal, like extremely peppery rhubarb pulled fresh from the ground. The custard is quite subtle. Just not for me sadly.

I love how this fragrance opens slightly sweet/tart and then goes a little stinky, earthy. I know, it's not the most inviting description; however, if you enjoy unusual scents, this could be for you. :)

The most beautiful combination of sweet, creamy and tart, with the perfect touch of earthiness from tobacco leaf.

A bit of a piercing scent at first, but the dry down is gorgeous. To me it smells like a sitting in a kitchen drinking mimosas after baking rhubarb pie!

Rarely do I have an idea of what a perfume will smell like and actually have it meet what I imagine. This perfume did that exactly!! I wanted a rhubarb that wasn’t too piercing as several that I tried have been. I wanted it to be delightfully bright, but anchored with a smooth even scent which the custard part of this does perfectly. I will be buying a full size for sure and regret even thinking I needed to buy a sample first instead of blind buying. I love everything I’ve tried from 4160 Tuesdays so I should have just blind bought this one because I really did have a good feeling about it. Instead I sampled and now my hands are empty and I will soon be filling them with this perfect rhubarb.
