Wonderoud

I love the CDG scents, but Wonderoud has no staying power. Feels like it’s gone in 30 seconds, (unlike Blackpepper). It’s pleasant but too shy for me.

It has a great quality, value. I'll recommend it.

My wife loves JJ. So when I found out the cologne he wears, I told her I would give it a spend. When she smelled the Wonderoud on me, she nearly tackled me. It has and outdoors kind of smell. A manly smell as she would describe it. I'm more of a Jimmy Choo Man Blue or Sauvage kind of guy, but I can get used to the Wonderoud. I've gotten many compliments from both women and men at work. So I will say great job to Comme des Garcons!

I've been searching for this fragrance for a while thanks to Joe Jonas. It's been soldout everywhere pretty much. I can't wait to try it. I have not received it yet I will write another review when I receive it. So excited.

Got this scent because of Joe Jonas (lol) but it really is an amazing scent and I’m wondering if I could pull off myself daily as a female.

Love this smell! I’m very picky about men’s cologne but this smells great. It’s very earthy and spicy.

Really like this one, super interesting. The cedarwood pops right out as soon as it dries on your skin and that's exactly what I was hoping for. I'm hoping the vetiver comes out more later because I literally just sprayed it on myself. Super fast shipping too, got here in two days once tracking generated.

Wonderoud

I got the original Wonderwood and Wonderoud. To me they didn't smell woody but two different people I asked to describe the scent said I either smelled like "fresh tissue paper" and one said like "paper and pencils"..well paper is made out of wood so I guess the scent was spot on? Wonderoud was noted as smelling more woody by others to me the oud was loud whereas Wonderwood was noted for being softer. The oud in wonderoud makes it lean more masculine as thats what you expect from a mens cologne yet I do think a woman could get away with it solo or as a layer to add more depth to a feminine perfume. Wonderwood feels unisex (a Gypsy Water fan) the more it dries down. The initial spray is very peppery and screams mens cologne but after an hour or so it softens down to something that smells a little sweet and "woody" with hints of pepper. I liked the sandalwood note in this and its what made this one softer than the Wonderoud edition imo. Note, I am a woman who enjoys the smell of Home Depot and was looking for something that smelled woody or papery to wear layered with something something else floral or sweet.
