Sellier

This is the best fall/winter fragrance I’ve ever worn. I love leather fragrances in general, but there’s something really special about this leather accord combined with the tea note and underscored by birch. So much better than your typical designer leather fragrance, this is a real mood elevator. Spray it on and you feel not just confident but happy. The tobacco leaves are the perfect counterbalance in the heart, and it lasts for hours. Never overwhelming but uplifting and warm. Between this and Tobacco Mandarin, Byredo has you covered from October to March when you want something rich, cozy, and comforting. I have other fall/winter fragrances in abundance, but I always find myself reaching for these two, especially Sellier.

I think that Byredo has changed the formula from the original Sellier they phased out in 2025 to the new Cuir Sellier. I haven’t tried the new formula, but if you can get your hands on the original, snap it up! A truly beautiful fragrance.

People kept saying “what is that fresh light smell?!” I always describe it as the most photorealistic leather I’ve smelled. It does have some sandalwood. But this is one of signatures. It’s warm and cozy in the winter, and hot and sleazy in the summer

I bought this fragrance for my husband thinking he would surely love it. He has a strong leather-based cologne he often wears. Unfortunately he didn’t love it, but I tried it on my skin and couldn’t believe how much it worked on me. For being so heavy on the leather and tobacco end it is surprisingly feminine, and I plan to buy more of this. Definitely a unique female fragrance!

I GOT A TIP FROM ONE OF MY COWORKERS ABOUT THIS SCENT. BUT I DIDN'T WANT TO BUY THE REAL THING UNTIL I KNEW IT WAS LEGIT AND BOY WAS SHE RIGHT!! THIS IS A MUST HAVE AND WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Ok I liked it. It’s a more balanced Santal 33. However! I had 3 people smell it on me and physically step away. The leather is strong in this. You’ll need a confidence I don’t have to wear it out.

Perfection! Exactly as advertised, 5 ml in a beautiful bottle with an applicator that will make it last longer than a spray. Could not be more pleased with this company. Delivery was quick too!

The Byredo Sellier didn’t smell as strong as the original. I would not recommend to my friends or family

Yeah I’m new to this purchasing smaller quantities of fragrance because the I like super high end fragrance? Now I’m not cheap, it’s just that everything is so high and I pay a mortgage but I look forward to sometimes getting cleaned up and dressed up and smelling high end, I resource helps me accomplish this

This perfume leans way too masculine for me. I like gender-less or masculine leaning perfumes but this one is too heavy on the leather and tobacco scents. I think it would smell heavenly on a guy though!
