Gelatino

I have never written a review in my life for a fragrance before, but I felt that it was necessary in this case. I was really hoping for a true gelato scent, like that moment you walk into a gelato shop and get hit with the aroma of waffle cones, creamy sweetness, and that cold, airy freshness. Unfortunately, this is nothing like that. It doesn’t smell like gelato, ice cream, vanilla, or even milk. Instead, it has a heavy musky coconut note — and not in a good way. I am a coconut lover, but something about this smells very wrong. It was so unpleasant that my husband asked me to shower it off immediately after I sprayed it. If you’re looking for an authentic ice cream fragrance, I’d stick with “Lick Me,” even though that one leans more waffle cone than ice cream. This fragrance, Gelatino, is not gourmand, not realistic — just a cloying, sickly musky rancid coconut that completely misses the mark.

Got a sample of this and wow it’s very yummy. Strong vanilla gourmand scent. At first spray It reminds me of those Butter rum candies by lifesaver…. Then the dry down is a warm vanilla. Pretty linear but very warming scent for fall and winter.

I thought this would be a sweet fluffy gourmand throughout the full wear. Unfortunately the dry down goes a bit too heavy on the musk for me. Not my favorite.
