Amethyste by Ybry Paris is a Floral fragrance for Women & Men. 

Sharp incense and bitter orange crack open into a lush tuberose heart, then melt into vanilla and ambergris. Violaine Collas made something that manages to be both dramatic and easy to wear.

Violaine Collas played with contrast here, and it works. The top is almost austere. Olibanum incense, bergamot with a bitter edge, nothing sweet about it. Then the heart opens up and it's a completely different fragrance: tuberose at full volume, orange blossom, ylang-ylang doing that creamy thing ylang-ylang does. The tension between that sharp opening and the lush middle is what makes this interesting. It doesn't resolve neatly. The base, vanilla and ambergris, smooths things out without flattening them. You can still feel both sides. It's the kind of perfume that smells different on your wrist than it does from across the room, which is usually a good sign.
