Manuel Mathieu

Manuel Mathieu is a multidisciplinary artist whose fragrance house extends themes explored throughout his artistic practice, including identity, memory, spirituality, and personal transformation. The collection was developed in collaboration with perfumer Juliette Karagueuzoglou of IFF, with each fragrance shaped through a creative dialogue between emotional storytelling and olfactory composition. Personal experiences, memories, and reflections served as the foundation for the scents, resulting in fragrances that explore human connection and self-discovery.

The visual identity of the brand is closely tied to Mathieu’s work as a ceramic artist. The sculptural bottle design was developed from forms created in his studio, emphasizing organic shapes and the tactile presence of the artist’s hand. Inspired by the mountainous landscape of Haiti, Mathieu’s homeland, the bottle reflects both personal heritage and artistic expression. Through fragrance, art, and collaboration, the brand explores evolving narratives of culture, creativity, and individuality.
