Amber is one of those materials perfumers keep returning to because it does something no synthetic can fake. It feels ancient. Alex Lee leaned into that here. The opening is spiced and a little aggressive: pink pepper and black pepper tangled with saffron, the kind of first impression that turns heads. It settles fast, though. Sandalwood and cashmeran take over in the mid, pulling the composition toward something quieter and more intimate. The base is where it lives. Ambergris, mossy woods, and a leathered softness that sits right against the skin. Not loud. Not trying to fill a room. More like something you'd notice only when you got close.
